Basic components of bridge crane
Bridge: The main structure of bridge crane, spanning on the support beam, composed of main beam and end beam, forming a bridge structure.
Trolley running mechanism: The mechanism that moves the bridge along the track direction of the factory building (usually horizontal or longitudinal), including drive device (motor, reducer, etc.) and running wheel.
Trolley running mechanism: The trolley running on the bridge moves along the main beam direction of the bridge. The trolley is equipped with a lifting mechanism.
Lifting mechanism: The mechanism used to lift and lower heavy objects, including motors, reducers, drums, wire ropes and hooks.
Electrical control system: The core of controlling the operation of bridge crane, including controllers, contactors, relays, etc., used to control the operation of trolleys and trolleys and the action of lifting mechanisms.

Operation process of bridge crane
1. Preparation stage
- Power on: The operator starts the power supply. After the electrical control system is powered on, it is ready to start each operating mechanism.
- Check equipment status: The operator checks whether the mechanical and electrical components of the bridge cranes are normal and confirms that the equipment is fault-free.
2. Positioning of trolley and car
- Trolley operation: The operator controls the trolley to move along the track through the console to position the bridge to the required position.
- Trolley operation: When the bridge reaches the predetermined position, the trolley moves along the main beam to position the lifting mechanism to a specific lifting point.
3. Lifting mechanism operation
- Lifting operation: The operator starts the lifting mechanism, the motor drives the drum to rotate, and the hook and its load are lifted by the wire rope.
- Lifting heavy objects: When the heavy object is lifted to the predetermined height, the operator controls the trolley and the trolley to transport the heavy object to the designated location.
- Lowering heavy objects: After arriving at the destination, the operator controls the lifting mechanism to descend and safely places the heavy object at the designated location.
4. Stop and reset
- Stop operation: After the operation is completed, the operator will raise the hook to a safe height and turn off the trolley and car running mechanism and lifting mechanism.
- Reset equipment: Move the trolley and trolley to the designated parking position, cut off the power supply, and lock the control cabinet.
