The entire prefabricated segmental beams are suspended from the main girder of the launching gantry. After prestressing, they are lowered onto the bridge piers. Alternatively, they can be seamlessly joined with the pier cap through cast-in-place wet joints. This method is suitable for simply supported or continuous beams with spans up to 60 meters.
T-Beam Balanced Assembly Method
Segmental beams are symmetrically installed from the pier top towards the mid-span. Each pair of beam blocks undergoes tensioning once, culminating in a wet joint closure at the mid-span. This method is suitable for continuous beams or continuous rigid frame bridges with large spans.
