The bridge erecting machine can simultaneously lift two prefabricated beams, and a single gantry crane equipped with dual lifting equipment can lift prefabricated beams separately. The lifting capacity of two cranes simultaneously is generally 450 tons, and the lifting capacity of a single crane. The weight can usually reach 900 tons. However, as the bridge erector is a large-scale special equipment for bridge installation, the safety factor at the construction site is required to be high. In addition to having professional personnel on site to direct the bridge erector, the speed requirement of the bridge erector is generally low and runs relatively slowly, which also ensures safety.
