What kind of crane should be used if the height of the factory building is not enough?
I want to install a crane in the factory, but the height of the factory is not high enough. How can I make the lifting height meet the usage requirements? Since the factory building is not high enough, it is difficult for the traditional single-girder overhead crane to achieve the purpose of raising the lifting height to the usage requirements. Faced with this situation, the ability of crane manufacturers to formulate plans is particularly important. So when we meet customers with such needs, how do we do Excellent Lifting?

Usually, we give customers two options to choose from. The first option is to recommend that customers install a double-beam overhead crane. Because of the different structural forms, the installation methods of the operating trolleys of double-beam traveling cranes and single-beam overhead cranes are different, which also results in different lifting heights between the two. The operating trolley of a single-beam traveling crane is hung below the main beam of the traveling crane. Its maximum lifting height is the distance from the ground to the hook. This means that the distance from the hook to the main beam cannot be fully utilized. Therefore, The overall lifting height of a single-beam traveling crane is limited. The double girder overhead crane is different. Its operating trolley is erected in the middle of the two main beams. Therefore, the lifting height of the traveling crane is the distance between the ground and the main beam. This type of traveling crane effectively increases the lifting height range of the equipment.
The second option is to install an off-track single-beam overhead crane. There are always some owners who don’t like to install double-beam overhead cranes, but in order to make the lifting height of the overhead crane meet the usage requirements, we can also install an off-track single-beam traveling crane. As the name suggests, the off-track crane means that the operating trolley is hung on one side of the main beam track, which prevents the operating trolley from hanging under the main beam, thereby further increasing the lifting height.
