Rail transfer cart is a 36V low-voltage rail powered electric flat cart, which is powered by the rail sliding contact wire. The rail is both the walking track of the wheel and the feed track.
It is has 36V single-phase power supply and three-phase power supply. Ground step-down transformer control cabinet will step down single-phase (three-phase) AC 380V to single-phase (three-phase) 36V, through the sliding contact wire feed the flat cart, and then through the on-board booster transformer to step up single-phase (three-phase) AC 380V.
Because the walking track also serves as the feed track, the insulation between the rails, wheels and the cart body is required. Special insulation treatment should be done when the rail is laid.
